Perform duties too varied and diverse to be classified in any specific office clerical occupation, requiring knowledge of office systems and procedures.
Clerical duties may be assigned by the office procedures of individual establishments and may include a combination of answering telephones, bookkeeping, typing or word processing, office machine operation, and filing.
Summary:
Keeps corporation records and executes administrative policies determined by or in conjunction with other officials by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Reports to the director of Piedmont Cheerwine Bottling Company and indirectly to the general managers of the corporation.
Follow accounts receivable guidelines set by trade/customer when checking in orders (DSD, PO#, Military, Receipt, or stamp) with the customer Creates and maintains database and spreadsheet files.
Handles routine office duties including route accounting, timesheet and payroll preparation, and any other duties assigned by management.
Directs preparation of records such as agendas, notices, minutes, and resolutions for corporate meetings.
Answers phones and greets visitors providing exceptional customer service.
Screens incoming calls and correspondence and responds independently when possible.
Prepares memorandums outlining and explaining administrative procedures and policies to supervisory workers, and monitors compliance.
Arrange programs, events, or conferences by arranging for facilities and caterers, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers, and controlling the event budget.
Acts as custodian of corporate documents and records.
Communicate issues, problems, or opportunities with the sales team and delivery team.
Follows all company policies and procedures set forth by management.

Education/
Experience:
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Encompass, Paycom, and word processing software.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
